Emmanuel – God with us

It’s always so amazing how the bible reveals itself in your reading time. I call it my time with God. I love to read his word early in the morning. I try to make it the first thing. Sometimes I get distracted by checking the weather (like I did this morning), but that’s because it’s raining here.
Today, I found another place where the bible predicted in the Old Testament that which we are living in today — the New Testament.
This verse brings me so much peace…
“For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song.”
Zephaniah 3:17
