Right Or Wrong…
July 31, 2007
Accept Christians who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.
Romans 14:1
Who are you to condemn God’s servants? They are responsible to the Lord, so let Him tell them whether they are right or wrong. The Lord’s power will help them do as they should.
Romans 14:4
So don’t condemn each other anymore. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not put an obstacle in another Christian’s path.
Romans 14:13
If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.
Romans 14:23b
Keep Seeking The Lord
July 30, 2007
Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. And as long as the king sought the LORD, God gave him success.
2 Chronicles 26:5
I Will Sing – Don Moen
July 27, 2007
Artist: Don Moen
Album: I Will Sing
Lyrics: I Will Sing
Lord You seem so far away. A million miles or more it feels today.
And though I haven’t lost my faith, I must confess right now that it’s hard for me to pray.
But I don’t know what to say and I don’t know where to start.
But as you give the grace with all that’s in my heart.
I will sing.
I will praise even in my darkest time through the sorrow and the pain.
I will sing. I will praise.
Lift my hands to honor You because Your word is true. I will sing.
Lord is hard for me to see all the thought and plan You have for me.
But I will put my trust in You. Lord will meet Your guide to set me free.
(2 times)
God Helped Him

So when the Armanean charioteers saw Jehoshaphat in his royal robes, they went after him. “There is the king of Israel!” they shouted. But Jehoshaphat cried out to the LORD to save him, and God helped him by turning the attack away from him.
2 Chronicles 18:31
You Were Called…
July 24, 2007
And having chosen them, he [God] called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory.
Romans 8:30
Do you realize that first you were chosen and then you were called? It was our job to accept the call. Thank God he knew that we would respond!
The Greek word in this text is Ejklektov (transliterated as Eklektos). It means the following:
1) Picked out, chosena. Chosen by God,
1. to obtain salvation through Christ (1a)
b. Christians are called “chosen or elect” of God
1. The Messiah is called “elect”, as appointed by God to the most exalted office conceivable
2.Choice, select, i.e. the best of its kind or class, excellence preeminent; applied to certain individual Christians.

He Loves Us!
July 19, 2007
O LORD, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Israel, make your people always want to obey you. See to it that their love for you never changes.
1 Chronicles 29:18
And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Romans 5:5

Food for thought…what do we miss everyday?
Work and Wages
July 17, 2007
When people work, their wages are not a gift. Workers earn what they receive. But people are declared righteous because of their faith, not because of their work.
Romans 4:4-5
Secret Life
July 14, 2007
The day will surely come when God, by Jesus Christ, will judge everyone’s secret life. This is my message.

About Me…
July 13, 2007
I’ve been tagged by Lara from Lara’s Place to share 8 facts about me. 🙂
Here are the rules:
A. Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.
B. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
8 Facts/Habits about Me:
- I was born in England and have a dual-citizenship as my father was an Air Force man stationed there. I came to the US when I was three.
- I lived in San Antonio for two years before coming to Dallas. Again I was very young, only five when I arrived.
- I love to sing. Can’t help it == it’s in my blood. My mom says that I used to sing “Hey, Hey Supergirl. Hey Hey.” Still have no clue where that song is from…
- I’ve been to Africa (Nairobi, Kenya).
- I’ve been on a CD recording with my choir, “Grace – The Kenya Experience“
- I play the flute…but it has been too long ago so I’m not skilled in the art right now.
- I want to visit many places around the world in order of preference: Israel, Petra, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, India, Australia and China. One day I’m going to all of these places – Lord willing. 😛
- I LOVE JESUS!!!!!
I love doing these tags, but I really don’t like to tag people…so, if you are reading this and you want to be tagged, enter a comment and I’ll tag you! 🙂
Shalom!
