My Worship Is For Real…
July 7, 2008
This is the choir that I sing in, The Bishop’s Choir, from The Potter’s House Church in Dallas, Texas. Someone recorded it online and posted it to YouTube. It is one of my favorite songs. I also have included the highly anointed song, To Worship You I Live, from John Murray and Josiah with the congregation of the same church. I’ve also posted both of these to my vodpod for viewing at any time.
Here is My Worship Is For Real:
You don’t know my story,
All the things that I’ve been through,
You can’t feel my pain,
What I had to go through to get here,
You’ll never understand my praise,
Don’t try to figure it out,
Because my worship,
My worship,
Is for real.
(Bridge)
(Sopranos)
I’ve been through too much,
Not to worship Him…
(Altos)
Much…
Not to worship Him…
(Tenors)
Much…
Not to worship Him…
(Vamp) – Watch the director! Words may change!
Hallelujah,
Hallelujah,
My worship is for real.
Thank you Jesus,
Thank you Jesus,
My worship is for real.
Lord I love you,
Lord I love you,
My worship is for real.
You’re so worthy,
You’re so worthy,
My worship is for real.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes…

Wow.
So…I’m dying to know if I can see you on there!
What a beautifully animated choir! I’m wondering how long the hand movements alone take you all to learn!

Hi Maggie…I’m in a few of the slots before they go off of me. If you see a girl with lightly colored pigment that would be me — with long brown/gray hair. We don’t learn any hand movements. This is all of us telling God how much we love him — so i guess he is orchestrating it! 🙂 The only thing we were asked to do is turn to each other at the beginning of the song to tell each other what God has done for us!
