My God…His Will

December 24, 2006

When we walk the walk of a Christian, it is no longer our will, but it becomes God’s will. When we stepped over into the Kingdom of Life, our life is ours with Christ. It cannot be separated from Him who loves us.

He (the Spirit) teaches us to move into His plans and His purposes. He trains and teaches us as we walk as followers of Christ. Sometimes we go kicking and screaming not wanting to change, but we should remember that God’s way is always the true way, for He (Jesus) said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light.”

The best part about God is that he teaches us little by little so that we may retain that which he has given us. He also does this so that the things of this world cannot overtake us.

Ask God to teach you His will.

Psalms 143:10 (NLT)
“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.”

May your day be filled with peace.
