At the LORD’s direction, Moses kept a written record of their progress. These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places they stopped along the way.
Numbers 33:2

Then Jesus went to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and taught there in the synagogue every Sabbath day.
Luke 4:31

Jesus cut him short, “Be silent!” he told the demon. The demon threw the man to the floor as the crowd watched; then it left him without hurting him further.
Luke 4:35

Early the next morning, Jesus went out into the wilderness. The crowds search everywhere for him, and when they finally found him, they begged him not to leave them.

Jesus related to Simon Peter with something that Peter knew – catching fish.

Why were Peter, James and John separated out from the others? Before Jesus came on the scene they all knew each other. They were in business together. What does business, knowing your partners and the kingdom of God have to do with one another? Is there a correlation?

  1. interesting…. i think the “co-laborering” in the gospel should be considered also…. i like the trail of thoughts!
